The pub is a great place to spend an evening, with a good atmosphere, cheap pints and all the sports on TNT. The steak and ale pie is amazing, and there’s a Cineworld, Asda and Hollywood Bowl nearby. The hotel and pub staff are lovely. One of the young women at reception even went next door to get my partner peppermint tea for the room, and both of the women there are friendly and happy to chat. Breakfast used to be £10.99 for an unlimited spread of cooked English breakfast and continental pastries under a hot counter. Now you order from the pub menu, and it feels much more expensive, so we won’t have breakfast there again while it stays this way. There’s no mobile signal, so you have to rely on the hotel Wi-Fi. Still, it’s a brilliant hotel and pub for us, and our usual stop when we visit up north.

Adele gave us a lovely welcome with a smile, and the place was quiet, just what we needed. There’s plenty of parking, though I initially parked by the soft play before realizing there are lots of spaces around the front. There are also EV chargers in the car park. The location is good, away from the traffic by the stadium and shopping area. No trouble at all, I’d stay again.

The rooms are the usual clean Premier Inn standard, and the shower pressure is excellent. The Greene King pub next door provides meals, and the food was good. It’s also handy for the motorway, just a couple of minutes away, and sits just off the main road.

The room worked really well for me. We were in a family room rather than an accessible one, but I still had plenty of space to get around safely and park my large walking frame. The doors and corridors were easy to manage with it, and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing too. Staff were so lovely, and the location was convenient, a short distance from Horwich Parkway train station and close to Tesco Extra and Middlebrook for essentials. Thanks for making our weekend much easier x

It was quiet and not crowded when I stayed here with my family last year. We were travelling from crawley and stayed about a week or so. We really enjoyed the place.
