The main entrance has small stones that made it awkward to move a suitcase. There was free parking, but the facilities need better maintenance: the sink was cracked and the stool was unstable. I also found a lot of dirty utensils in the kitchen. Using the washing machine and gas stove costs extra for electricity, 20p for 11 minutes or £1 for 40 minutes, even though the instructions say an hour. Customer service was only available through WhatsApp.
The room was in a poor state for cleanliness and maintenance. When we arrived late at night, it looked like someone had just slept there and rushed out. No one was available on the premises, so we contacted the property on WhatsApp and had to ask someone to come clean it. The shower head was covered in mould or bacteria.
We stayed two nights with young children and would come back. You could hear other guests, but it didn’t disturb us. The en-suite rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the pillows decent. It was easy to find, with off-road parking, a shared kitchen and free Wi-Fi. The one snag was arriving to find nobody there to hand over the keys and no number to call. Luckily, other residents had the owner’s number and the Wi-Fi password, so we were able to get in.
The Wi-Fi was super fast, there was plenty of parking, and fast-food shops were just 10 minutes away. The facilities were clean and modern, and just right for a night’s stay. They provided a fan as requested, but with the weather an air conditioner would have helped. Only one window opened, as the one on the other side of the room was locked. The toilet could use a small bin. I’d definitely come back.
