DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious, and our spacious, modern room was spotless, comfortable, and had all we needed. I especially liked the small touches that made it feel a bit more premium. The team were attentive and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the hotel is beautifully kept, with a nice mix of comfort and style. It’s a short walk to the seafront and close to everything in Brighton. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly come back. Highly recommend the DoubleTree Hilton Brighton.

The pool and sauna were quiet and relaxing, and the food was good overall. The grilled chicken skewers were especially tasty. Our room generally looked clean, though there were spider webs by the window. Staff were mostly helpful, but the in-room safe wasn’t working. We reported it to reception and were told they’d look into it, but nothing was done before we left. DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole is in an excellent location. A solid stay, with a few details that could be improved.

We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to take in the lovely sunset and sea views. The road and people on the street and beach were very loud, though. Even with the double-glazed windows and balcony doors shut, the noise was enough to make us think a window had been left open. Our room was clean, well maintained, and reasonably well equipped. A loose towel rail was fixed by the time we got back after reporting it. There’s plenty of parking behind the hotel, but it costs £26 for 24 hours, which didn’t feel right for hotel guests. The gym and other facilities are there, and breakfast was very good. A very nice hotel on the coast, and we had a lovely stay.

We had a great room overlooking the sea, with amazing views of the old pier and shoreline. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely spot, and the hotel itself is very nice. I didn’t manage to visit the health club, but I read that it has a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Maybe next time.
