My Brighton

The room had a really funky feel, especially the lighting. It's in a handy spot for getting around Brighton. The breakfast menu is small, but each dish is carefully made, and the apple juice is freshly pressed. This will be my regular place to stay in Brighton.

The room stayed surprisingly quiet, even though we were there at Halloween and the bars outside were buzzing. It was clean, with lovely lighting and a calming feel throughout the hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. We stayed one night after a longer visit, choosing it to be closer to town and the station. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we'll definitely be back. Amazing value.

We only stayed one night, but the location was perfect and the car park was a real bonus. Our room was bright and clean, with crisp bedding, pleasant lighting and plenty of sockets for phones and other things. The bar was good and the staff pleasant. We didn't eat breakfast, though the menu looked varied and the tables were nicely laid out. Looking forward to returning.

The staff were kind and pleasant, and the location is great, close to lots of shops and bars, with the beach about a ten-minute walk away. We were given room 193, an accessible room, because it was the only one left; we hadn't chosen it. The bathroom and sheets were very clean, and the sheets are changed every three days. But there were no bedside tables or mirror by the desk for makeup, and the shelves by the glasses and tea supplies were yellow-stained and sticky. There was a socket on each side of the bed, but plugs nearly fell out if nudged. The room had no decoration or warmth. It's fine if you just need a well-located room, but maybe less so if you'll spend much time at the hotel.
