Happy Brighton

I was in Brighton for work and stayed at this hostel. The staff were so friendly and helped me out when I locked myself out. I also met the owner, who clearly cared about how I was doing and about running the business. Having a laundry room, an en suite bathroom, and a spacious communal room to relax in was really convenient. The prices were very affordable, and I can’t praise the place enough in one review. I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in Brighton :D

The location is phenomenal, and the staff were kind and helpful. Lots of people seemed to be staying long term. I found it interesting that they asked for payment by bank transfer, but I was having trouble with that, and they were accommodating and let me pay in person. There weren’t lockers in the rooms for storing bags.

I’m staying in a pod room, and it feels like living in a pod in Japan. The place has a nice area to relax and cook your own meals, and the staff are lovely and helpful. You’re about 30 seconds from the pier, ten minutes on foot from the centre, and 15 minutes from the station. Buses come frequently too. The price is really convenient, and compared with other places in Brighton, it’s absolutely worth the money. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.

The pod I stayed in was really comfortable, and the whole place was clean, pleasant, and had a great atmosphere. I didn’t use much of the shared space downstairs, but it looked like a nice spot with plenty of books and games. The host’s messages were very helpful, and the instructions for getting in couldn’t have been clearer. I was doubtful a place this cheap could be so good, but it’s become one of my favourite places I’ve stayed. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to friends.
