The Box House

I agree with the previous review, this place is filthy. The cutlery, glasses and plates all needed washing before we could use them. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, years’ worth of dirt, and the mattress cover had hair, dirt and sand on it. The pillows and bedding were stained, and so were the old towels. There’s no terrestrial TV or tumble dryer, and nowhere to dry anything. It also doesn’t have two bathrooms: there’s one full bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs. The stair handrail was sticky and covered in fingerprints. I could list more, but I don’t want to spend any more time on it. It’s a shame, because the place has potential. I hope the owner and booking agencies take this seriously and bring in a professional cleaner for a proper deep clean.
