The Castle Inn Hotel

We stayed for one night with our two dogs, then held a family party here on Sunday. Tia and Jeff were wonderful and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The dog-friendly rooms are fantastic, very clean, and easy to keep that way. There’s a handy patch of grass nearby for a late-night outing, and a nice dog walk close by, with Bamber castle just up the road. The venue was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the fire is gorgeous in winter. The roast was delicious and the service second to none. Thank you for making our family and dogs feel so welcome. We’ll definitely return.

We had a fantastic Valentine’s dinner. The scallops and monkfish were cooked beautifully, the wine list was lovely, and our local resident discount card made it great value.

Thanks so much for making our stay easy. You checked what food we could eat and made sure it was available, and the room was clean and nice. Someone carried our suitcase upstairs and brought it back down later. Those little things can be difficult as we get older, so we really appreciated the help.

Our archery club held its annual dinner and trophy bash here on 8.11.25, and it was terrific. The food was great, the service excellent, and the newly refurbished restaurant has a much better atmosphere than it did last year. Thank you, Castle Inn, for making us feel so welcome.
