We’ve stayed twice, first in the bubble suite and then in the Hemsley junior suite. Both rooms were exceptional, and the staff and location were fantastic. My husband also arranged flowers, champagne, chocolates, and other treats for the room, which I was lucky to enjoy. The service was wonderful, and breakfast in bed was delicious. This is one of our favourite hotels. We still haven’t found a better UK spot for a romantic weekend, and you won’t be disappointed.

We were sorry to leave and I wanted to stay another night. It was our first visit, and we loved how big, quiet, and clean the rooms were. The beds are so comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and great value. The team were lovely and made us feel at home, even offering a complimentary drink at check-in. The hotel is just a few steps from Brighton pier, handy for seeing the town.

We felt welcome from the start at this lovely little hotel near the seafront. It’s spotlessly clean, with quirky details, a beautiful bathroom, and big, fluffy white towels. Breakfast was delicious too.

Breakfast alone would make me recommend The Square Townhouse. The eggs Florentine were a delicious, inventive take on the classic. My room was immaculate, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and luxurious linens. I slept better than I have in ages, and sipping morning tea while watching the waves from bed was bliss. The hotel is also within walking distance of everything Brighton has to offer. I was in town to visit my daughter at Brighton University and had a wonderfully restful weekend. It’s one of the most unique, memorable places I’ve stayed. The staff were warm and helpful from the moment I arrived, especially when I’d forgotten both my phone charger and umbrella. Their kindness made me feel well looked after.
