The pork belly with crackling was delicious, and we followed it with their homemade sticky toffee pudding, really yummy. They even brought extra custard when we asked. My partner was especially pleased with the extensive GF options. We had a delightful Sunday lunch and will be back soon. Mitch and Ann were friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed even though it was busy.

The bar has a really nice atmosphere, and the food is excellent for the price and quality. I had a fantastic stay, with attentive staff and great service. The rooms are spacious, clean and good value, with a nice selection of tea and coffee, including Yorkshire tea bags and Taylors coffee bags for coffee lovers. They also provide local cheddar and still and sparkling water. I’ll plan future stays when I’m in town for business.

We had dinner here on New Year’s Eve, and the warm atmosphere and excellent service made for a lovely evening. We were welcomed in and sat by the window in the bar, in the pet-friendly area with a great view. Our two starters, an Asian Salad and Halloumi and crispy Beef, were among the best dishes I’ve had in quite a while. The belly pork special with delphinoise potatoes was excellent too. The starter alone would bring me back. A wonderful meal to see out 2025, many thanks to Congresbury Arms.

The Sunday Roast was incredibly delicious, made with fresh, excellent-quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. There were plenty of vegetables, exquisite gravy, and a large portion, though a smaller one was available too. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal that much. I’d driven to Weston Suoer Mare to buy hay and managed to meet a friend I hadn’t seen in far too long while I was nearby. We met at The Congresbury Arms, and the meal turned out to be fabulous. The staff were kind and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They treated us like royalty even though I had ingrained mud on my washed hands and bits of hay on my clothes. I highly recommend a meal here, especially if you’re meeting a favourite friend you haven’t seen for a while.

We’ve been coming to the Congresbury Arms for a while, and the Sunday Roast has been tasty every time. There’s a good choice of meals, excellent vegetables and all the trimmings. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and serving until 5.30pm is an added bonus.
