The room was a perfect 18 degrees, and while it was nice to see an installed air con unit, we didn't need it. I appreciated how many pillows and cushions there were because I like sleeping mostly upright. At most hotels I have to hunt around for extras and improvise. Staff were busy but polite, and I can't fault them. The stairs were the one thing I hated, but that's just Bristol, with all its old buildings and steep staircases. The shower room was lovely, with a large mirror, a big shower, good water pressure and temperature control that worked perfectly. The tea and coffee station was attractively set up and useful, and the fridge was a game changer.

Even with miserable, cold weather, our family felt comfortable and got a warm welcome from the friendly staff. We had four rooms for two nights, Friday and Saturday in February. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the little fridge with cold water and fresh milk for tea and coffee from the machine was a treat. The beer was tasty. We didn't manage to try the food, but what we saw being served looked very good. We really enjoyed our stay at the Wellington and would definitely come again.

The room and bathroom were spotless and stylish, and the bed with its high-quality linen was very comfortable, just what you'd expect in a posh hotel. Complimentary Nespresso coffee, fine teas and biscuits were included too. We stayed one night at The Wellington in Bristol last weekend and would gladly have stayed longer. We didn't get to try the restaurant, but had a drink at the bar. It was clean and airy, and the service was friendly. We'd stay again next time we're in the area.

The Sunday roast arrived quickly, but it was cold. The wine selection was good, though a large glass was pricey, and the coffee machine was broken. Quite disappointing all in all.

Came for Sunday lunch with friends and children. The meal was lovely, and they were very generous with the beef in the roast. It came out quickly, and Grace gave excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
