Forest Park Hotel

We've stayed here before and it's always been good. The hotel and its surroundings are lovely, everything is clean and comfortable, and the food is good. The staff are consistently pleasant, friendly, and helpful, which makes a real difference. Sergio at the bar deserves a mention too. He's always lovely to see, cheerful and friendly, knows his drinks, and makes a good cocktail. Just the sort of person you want behind a bar.

From the moment we came in to ask about arrangements, everyone was kind and accommodating. For our small wedding dinner, the staff made the evening feel special: they set up a private dining area and gave us complimentary prosecco. They also decorated our room for the stay. We loved the friendly hospitality, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely come back for our anniversary next year.

Our two-bedroom family suite was spacious, comfortable, and really clean, with donkey photos on the walls. My grandkids love donkeys and took that as a good omen. I also loved the bath products so much that I bought some to take home. The staff were attentive, kind, friendly, and helpful throughout, and the estate is beautiful. We even drove up to see horses grazing on the lawn ❤️ It's a gorgeous country setting, and I enjoyed a little nature walk nearby. I liked eating in the on-site restaurant too. I'm vegan and had no trouble finding choices on the menu, and the food was delish. We had a great stay. I'd love to return and highly recommend Forest Park to anyone visiting the area. Ten stars without hesitation.

The room had a lovely country feel, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the forest. I'd been searching for somewhere to stay fairly last minute and picked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had better reviews than a few other places I considered. I was happy with the choice. I didn't speak much with the staff, and the welcome wasn't quite as amazing as I'd expected from other comments. We didn't eat in the restaurant because the options, especially with a child, weren't great. The walls are pretty thin, and you can hear the odd noise. Still, I was very happy with the stay and would definitely return and recommend it.
