Kingswood Hotel

Our balcony had a fantastic view, and I'd definitely recommend the sea view room. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the attentive staff made it a lovely little hotel. The bathroom radiator wasn't working, and the room radiator was only hot at the top, so it may need bleeding. Even so, we were warm and cosy and slept really well. Great value, and I'd highly recommend it.

The breakfast was really good, and the staff were absolutely lovely. Our room was really clean, and the balcony turned out to be a lovely surprise when my partner, Matthew, booked it. We only stayed one night, but the secluded location and views made it feel like a perfect getaway. It felt like being in a Hallmark movie!

We drove four hours for a relaxing break and were so disappointed. The staff were really friendly and offered to show me another room or deep clean ours, but I couldn't stay there. I looked at the other room, and its carpet stains were enough to make me leave. We didn't unpack. For £100 a night, I didn't expect to find a room that hadn't been hoovered, mould in the shower, bad carpet stains, broken furniture with chipped paint on the TV table and dresser, or a previous guest's toothbrush sticking out from under the bed. Calling the place tired would be an understatement.

After checking out, I was asked about my stay and offered a complimentary cappuccino, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Little things like that make a big difference. I stayed one night at Kingswood hotel -> Burnitsiland, and the staff really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Highly recommended, and I'd happily stay again.
