Church Farmhouse B & B

Allison was a perfect hostess, especially helpful and friendly as this was our first trip to the U.K. My two daughters and I spent three nights in this beautiful B&B, and we were so happy with our stay. It was cosy, very comfortable and extremely clean. Her traditional English breakfasts were fantastic, a real luxury. We were definitely spoiled, and I’ll stay there again.

We had two of the most peaceful, comfortable nights I can remember. Alison was a considerate, helpful host, and the room and bathroom were spacious, stylish and comfortable. Every detail seemed thought through. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked with locally sourced ingredients. A wonderful place, highly recommended, and I’d love to return.

We stayed in the Rose Room, a large room with a tv and attached bathroom with a tub and shower. The beds were comfortable and neatly made each day, and Alison left tea, coffee and biscuits for us. Her home was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and it was easy to find. She also helped us sort train tickets and a taxi, suggested things to do locally, and cooked a delicious breakfast each morning. Alison was a wonderful host. Church Farmhouse is such a beautiful, clean and inviting bed and breakfast, and we loved our stay.

A lovely, very friendly dog, friendly locals, and a wonderful view. It’s great for bird watching. The host was wonderful and the food was great. Comfortable place to stay, with tea, coffee, herbal teas and milk in the rooms, plus good toiletries. Bring some food you can prepare with a kettle.
