Dunseverick Ramblers Rest

We had such a comfortable, quiet, peaceful night, and our dog settled in nicely too. Dawn welcomed us on a cold November day and showed us a lovely room equipped with the essentials, including a small kitchen and microwave. The bed was warm and cozy, and the underfloor heating was amazing. There’s also a TV and free, excellent WiFi. For a meal, Carrick a rede in Ballintoy is a nice bar restaurant just a few minutes’ drive away. We had hot food there and I’d highly recommend it. There are lovely walks nearby and the coast is very close. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location is fabulous, close to the Giants causeway, Bushmills, Ballycastle, Carrick a rede rope bridge, Whitepark Bay, and lovely coastal walks just a stone’s throw away. This was the second time my husband and I stayed here, and we’d happily recommend it. The accommodation is beautiful, really clean and comfortable, and feels like a home from home. Dawn is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome right away. We stayed in the double room, which was warm, bright, and peaceful, with a comfortable bed, kitchen area, sofa, TV, and ensuite bathroom. It’s dog friendly too, if you want to bring your four legged friend.

We stayed one night for my husband’s birthday and brought our two small dogs. The room had everything we needed for an evening snack and cooked breakfast in the morning, and the shower facilities were good. We walked to Dunseverick Harbour for the beautiful views, and Ballintoy, Carrick-a-rede, and The Giants Causeway are close by. For dinner, we went to The Fullerton Arms, a welcoming, dog friendly place where the food was amazing. I’d definitely recommend staying here as a base for exploring the North Coast.

The rooms were clean and nicely looked after. I only spent one night there, but it seems like a good base for exploring this stretch of coast. I'd recommend it.
