The staff were welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good, uninterrupted night. The room was clean, though the decor is looking a bit tired and the skirting boards have yellowed. We also heard a lot of noise from above in the morning, like a child running around. It wasn’t very warm in our family room either. There was just one electric fire and no central heating. Still, it was comfortable and not bad value. I’d stay again for a night or two.

The room felt fresh, and was clean and tidy. We were welcomed straight away by smiling staff when we walked in. The location suited me and my family well, with great amenities nearby, and it was really quiet at night.

Freya was so attentive and helpful when my mum and I stayed. She made us feel very welcome and was fantastic. The room was cosy and warm, with a bath, and we’d definitely stay here again.

For the price, it’s a decent place to sleep when you’ve got a busy day ahead. There’s a pub right next door where you can get a meal, as well as breakfast, and the location and services were great. The bed was too hard for us, though, and we didn’t sleep well. Don’t book expecting a view from the window or a cosy place to hang out.

Ryan gave us great customer service and we were welcomed warmly. The rooms were tidy and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.
