The location in Wales is nice and the staff are attentive, but the hotel has poor noise control. Guests keep letting doors slam, and the rooms smell, possibly because pets are allowed. Homeless people are also being housed there, and the rooms aren't always clean.

Room 105 was clean enough and the shower was good, though the carpet had lots of stains. I wouldn't recommend it for women travelling alone. The entrance is tucked away, and the car park is a short walk down the road, which isn't great after dark. Young people were hanging around the entrance, smoking weed and making quite a bit of noise. I'd spend a little extra on an Airbnb.

The stay was awful and not worth the price. Room 103 smelled of urine, and the plugs didn't work. There's no mobile signal, and when I reported the problems to reception, they didn't resolve them. You have to pay for parking and WiFi, but I couldn't get the WiFi payment to work. The walk from the car park to the hotel was also too long for my liking. I wouldn't recommend this place.

A handy base for walking into Caernarfon, with breakfast at Wetherspoons and the Castle nearby. The staff were very pleasant, and the room was reasonably priced and did the job after a hike up Snowdon. The bathroom could have been cleaner when I arrived, and the mattress wasn't as comfortable as at other Travelodge's. There was only a shower, with water pressure that varied, and the layout was a bit odd, with coat hangers in the wardrobe above another single bed. Fine for solo travel. Ask for a hairdryer when you arrive. For parking, the nearby ASDA car park is cheaper: £3 for 24 hours, bookable on horizonspaces or via the signs there, compared with £7.70 at the main council car park.

We slept well in a good room and I'd stay again. The shower was weak and could use a power booster, but otherwise there were no issues. It's near the water and marina, with just a short walk to the hotel. The council car park is a rip-off if you're only staying a couple of hours because the minimum charge covers six hours, though 24 hours is more reasonable.
