Jan was so thoughtful throughout our stay. We never met in person, but she kept in touch by text and made sure anything we asked for was waiting at the door when we returned. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, including a mini fridge and microwave. The huge bed was incredibly comfortable. Such a shame we only stayed one night. We’d happily come back.

The owner was really lovely, and there were plenty of refreshments in the beautiful house. Our room was lovely too, with a very comfortable bed. We had a really nice stay.

We loved staying here. The host showed us around and shared some nearby food recommendations, and she was really nice. The house itself is beautiful, tucked inside the castle wall.

The staff made us feel welcome and were really helpful, and the place was great for pets. Parking was good too. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return!

We didn’t want to leave. Victoria house has a lovely garden that every room can use, plus a balcony looking out over the sea. Jan, who runs it, was such a kind host. She moved us to a different room at no charge after a cancellation, and even left a card and cakes by our door for my partner’s birthday. Those little touches made the stay really memorable. Before the upgrade, we saw the other rooms too. They were all gorgeous, clean, spacious, and decorated with lots of character and thoughtful details. The guest house is right on the sea front, surrounded by the castle walls, which made the setting feel magical. It was our best stay ever, easily worth every penny, and I’ve recommended Victoria house to everyone I know. We hope to return next time we visit wales.
