This was our fourth stay, and we come back each time we drop our daughter off at Cambridge University and spend the evening. Somehow I've never written a review before. The same room, secure underground parking, brilliant food (especially the eggs Benedict at breakfast 😂), and staff who are so friendly and helpful make it feel like home away from home. Everything's been perfect. I'd give it 10 stars if I could ⭐️.

Janet at reception and the rest of the staff were attentive and lovely, with lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel comfortable throughout our getaway. It's about a 20-minute walk from central Cambridge or a 10-minute drive. The pool and wellness centre were great to have, even though the pool was a bit busy and noisy. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

I rented a room for a week and a half, and at check-in they said it would get a “deep clean” during my stay. That sounded good, but it never seemed to happen. Dust from previous guests was still under the bed and on every surface, coating my things and screens. A crumb by the bedside table was still there after the supposed cleaning day. All I noticed was a fluffed pillow and two fresh toilet rolls. They didn't replace my cups or glasses, top up the empty espresso capsule tray, or empty the bin until I asked. I left the “clean the room please” light on all day and nothing was done. It's a door setting for either requesting cleaning or asking not to be disturbed, so the room clearly wasn't serviced.

While we were in Cambridge with family, our room's heating wasn't working. They changed it straight away and upgraded us, then gave us extra time to check out the next day. It was a pleasant stay, and I'd recommend the place for a comfortable family visit.
