Wilde Cambridge City Centre

The aparthotel feels very new and fresh, and our immaculate room had new cooking equipment, lovely interiors and plenty of space to work or relax. The lobby smelled amazing when we arrived, and we had a great few days in an excellent central location. The lounge itself is beautiful, but the student halls atmosphere cost the hotel a star for me. University students seemed to live there and had taken over the lounge. One evening we counted 45 people in three big groups, and there was corridor noise at 3am. I hadn’t expected to feel like I was back at university. A few simple rules could help the hotel suit different guests, such as no laptops in the lounge at weekends or evenings, which other places in Cambridge do, and perhaps a separate bar or common room. Some staff seemed inexperienced, didn’t know the drinks menu, and may not have felt confident asking the large groups to be more respectful.

The staff made our week in Cambridge memorable. Everyone we met at reception and in the cafe was professional, kind and caring, and seemed to really want to make our stay as good as possible. They worked well together too. Special thanks to Kiki, Cath, Albert, Ashika and everyone else. We hope to return soon. We’re working remotely while travelling the world, and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. The brand new hotel was clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. The cafe/restaurant was stunning and cozy, with great food and drinks, and the well-appointed rooms had everything we needed. The location is hard to beat, within easy walking distance of the main attractions. There is a connected car park, but it belongs to another company and is ridiculously expensive. Castle Hill is a much cheaper option about a 10-minute walk away.

The rooms were spacious, quiet, comfortable and fully equipped, and the building is beautiful. The location is amazing, and the staff were fantastic. Check-in went smoothly, we got a kind complimentary upgrade, and everyone was so welcoming. We didn’t use the mini shop or bar/restaurant, though they all looked amazing. I’d be very happy to come back. Only good things to say.

Wilde aparthotels in cambridge city centre is one of the best places I’ve stayed. From reception onwards, the friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and lovely lemongrass scent make a warm first impression. The rooms were clean and fitted out with the best fixtures they could find. Service was excellent too. One evening I asked for tea using the WhatsApp QR code, and a couple of tea bags arrived in my room within minutes. I’ll definitely stay in Wilde wherever I travel from now on.
