Ceri arranged some lovely surprises in the room for our son’s birthday, which made the stay especially memorable. Breakfast was incredible, and the staff were so helpful throughout. Our room was serviced to a high standard each day and was lovely to return to. The hotel is right beside the castle. We’ll be back. Thank you 🙏 ♥️

The location is excellent, right opposite Cardiff Castle, and we had a lovely visit overall. We parked through Just Park, a 3 minute walk away, for a reasonable price. There’s no hotel parking, though there is a small zone for drop-off and pickup. The pool was nice, but the changing rooms weren’t as clean as I’d expect, and it cost £5 each to use. We stayed for two nights over New Year in a high-floor king superior room with my husband and baby. Beforehand, the hotel was very helpful about making sure there was space, a mini fridge for baby food and a cot. The room was tidy and very clean, with a fresh, stylish bathroom and a hot, powerful shower. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and the cot was just right. Despite the holiday, we didn’t hear street noise, fireworks or neighbours. Breakfast was nice. Each morning we were greeted by someone I assume was the manager, who recognized us on our second visit. There was enough room for the pram and a highchair, even though our baby didn’t eat breakfast.

I stayed for work and slept really well in the clean room. The on-site services were great, and the gym was easy to use. The lad who runs it was friendly and answered my questions. Breakfast was a pleasant start to the day too, especially thanks to one staff member, who I think was called Claudia. I’d recommend the place and come back.

We spent three nights here over Christmas. The hotel is right in the heart of Cardiff, and our seventh-floor room had a wonderful view of Cardiff Castle. WiFi was free. The manager and his team made the holiday relaxing and enjoyable, and our extra requests were taken care of. Reception staff were professional and friendly. The room was cosy and clean, with a comfortable king bed and fresh linens. Water was provided each day. There was a shower and bathtub, bathrobe and slippers, plus a kettle and coffee machine. Room service had a 24-hour menu. We enjoyed Christmas dinner in the restaurant. The food tasted lovingly prepared, and the waiters were pleasant and friendly. Darina was helpful. There’s also a bar and a children’s room. The hotel has a gym, and its spa, with hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and shower cabins, is open from 8am to 8pm. There’s no hotel parking, so it costs £25 per day. 🥰🎄
