One Hundred - Bed & Breakfast

The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable, and the location was great. But there was a really strong smell from a plug in the hallway, and I could smell it in the room even with the door shut and both windows open. Olbas oil didn't cover it. If you're sensitive to smells, it's unpleasant and difficult. I couldn't stay again, so anyone with a sensitive nose should beware. To the owner: even switching it off overnight and opening the windows didn't solve the smell.

We came for an anniversary weekend and felt very welcome. The room was lovely, and the easy, smooth self check-in really helped me as I'm Autistic. Breakfast was simple and nice too. We were worried about the on-street parking, but found a space about 20 yards away without trouble. Great location, around a 20-minute walk into central Cardiff, with a good pub just around the corner. We'd stay again for sure.

We were in room 6 on the top floor. It was small but nice, though there’s no lift and the dormer window doesn't give you a good view. I also wasn't comfortable leaving my car in the parking area because there were signs that other cars had been broken into. That's the only reason I took a star off for location. Inside, everything was very clean, and the rooms and preordered breakfast were excellent value. The facilities were great, and the maid can provide plenty of fresh linen if you need it. There are lots of places to eat and drink just a few minutes away. The Four Elms is a great pub.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town centre. Our room was quiet, very comfortable and super clean, with a nice TV. Staff were friendly and quick to respond, and communication was excellent. Breakfast was fine, though we stayed five days and it was the same each morning.
