We stayed overnight for a 50th birthday party. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. My husband had only booked for one, but Tracey sorted out the booking with a smile and brought us extra towels straight away. She was so helpful, nothing seemed like a bother. Excellent service, and I’d recommend this Premier Inn to friends.

Tracey at the front desk was welcoming and really helpful, and we had a good meal in the linked pub, which seems better than on our last visit. The room was comfortable, but I’ve taken a star off because there was a stale smell from the bathroom or carpet.

The site is looking pretty worn these days, but I keep stopping here on my way north because the service is good. The on-site pub, Flaming Grill, is popular with locals and isn’t run by Whitbread, so it stays busy, serves cheap food and drink, and is open until 11pm. My favourite is the hot skillet Hunters Chicken, under 12 quid. Breakfast is always made to order rather than buffet, but this time it came very quickly. Please take note, Whitbread!

Tracy checked me in and was brilliant, really helpful. The restaurant team were quick and the food was lovely too. The room loses a star because I needed a USB socket. It’s easy to find, with plenty of parking, and the staff were lovely. Most Premier Inns are pretty much the same, so it’s the people who make the difference, and Tracy really did. I’ll use this one again instead of the other three nearby. Thanks, everyone!

Tracey and the rest of the front desk team made check-in easy. Everyone was professional, friendly and very helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Definitely recommend it.
