New Park Hotel

The rooms look nice and match their description, but I had the worst night's sleep. We were on the first floor over the weekend for a swimming competition and had to get up early. Music from the nightclub/bar downstairs went on until 4 am, and we could clearly hear people below and outside. There's also a ceiling light that glows bright green. Nobody had told us there was a nightclub/bar downstairs. Be warned, this isn't a good weekend choice.

The front doesn't give much away, but inside it's clean and modern. The double room is small, yet the layout makes good use of the space so it doesn't feel poky. I'm 6 ft 5 and have been cramped in much larger rooms. It's very clean and practical. I'd absolutely recommend it and come back.

Outside, it wasn't much to look at, so we were a bit taken aback when we arrived. Inside was a different story: the place was relaxed, absolutely spotless and fresh, and our room was spacious. We slept really well in the comfortable bed and the shower was fabulous. Zoe was very helpful. Honestly, we couldn't fault it and would stay again if we return to camarthen.

I never even got the chance to enter the accommodation. After a long day of work and travel, I called the number on booking dot com and nobody answered, so I had to find somewhere else to stay. There's on-street parking, though it can be difficult, and the place appears to be above a nightclub.
