Spilman Hotel

Spilman was right in central Carmarthen, beside shops and restaurants, and surprisingly quiet. I needed somewhere for one night at short notice, so I called that morning. They had a reasonably priced room and offered breakfast and secure parking, which I wanted for my motorbike. The parking area is locked at night. My room was clean and comfortable, with a decent bathroom, TV and free WiFi. Nothing was broken, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, with cereals, cooked options, tea, coffee and juices. Definitely recommended.

The staff were so welcoming and efficient, management should be proud of them. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable too. What a gem of a hotel!

Getting into the car park is EXTREMELY tight, so follow the instructions exactly. The hosts were really helpful with suggestions for the best restaurants. We slept wonderfully in a super king-sized bed, then had a lovely home-cooked breakfast. It's a lovely hotel in a really convenient spot.

The car park entrance is very narrow, which was the one downside. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Michelle. The rooms were modern, comfortable and clean. It's a fantastic hotel right in the centre of Carmarthen.
