We first stayed here for two nights in June, then came back for another two nights in November in our campervan. It’s a lovely, peaceful little site, and we’ll be returning again in 2026. There are glamping pods dotted around as well. The toilets, showers, and laundry block are clean and in excellent condition. There’s even music while you’re in the shower. The Longlands pub is a short walk away and great for food or a drink. Both times we went for tea, we got the deal of any two pizzas, chips on the side, and half a bottle of wine for two people for £30. You may want a torch for the walk back at night. There’s a grassy path along the side of the road. It’s also handy for a bus ride to Lancaster, Kendal, or even as far as Keswick on the 555 Stagecoach bus, which costs £3 each way. It stops on either side of the road from the Longlands pub. We went to Kendal. The site is only five minutes down the road from M6 junction 35 at Carnforth.

The pods were spotless, well maintained, and had plenty of space. Ours had a kettle, tea, coffee, milk, and a TV, and the beds were comfortable with clean, good-quality linen. It was a peaceful place to switch off and enjoy time with family, and communication from the host was excellent. The park is beautifully kept, close to a great farm, pub, and family facilities, and not far from the motorway. Thanks for a lovely stay, I’d recommend it!

A good spot for a campervan, with hardstanding pitches, a grassy area at each one, plus electric hook-up and water. There’s a working farm nearby with a shop and lots of child-friendly activities. A lovely pub, restaurant, and hotel are only a few hundred yards away, though there isn’t really a footpath, so take care walking there.

We had a lovely short stay in a glamping pod. It was clean, looked after well, and had everything we needed. Arnside and Grange are well placed for a visit, and taking the train across the estuary is highly recommended.
