Those portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and the prices seemed fair. We finally tried this place just down the road for lunch, and my husband and I can't believe we waited so long. I'm still thinking about the garlic mayo and wishing I had the recipe. 10/10, we'll be back!

We really enjoyed the Saturday night atmosphere, with both locals and visitors around, and the meal menu had plenty of good choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and gave our blind dog completely lovely service. Prices weren't high either. We'll definitely return next time we're passing through Carnoustie.

The mixed grill and fish and chips were fantastic, nicely presented, and came in good-sized portions. All three of us left happy. We hadn't booked ahead for our family meal last week, but they welcomed us anyway, and the service was professional and warm. We'll gladly come back for another meal. Thank you.

The bar and food were very good, and the room was fine for what we needed. We were in the area for golf and needed somewhere for one night. The rooms could do with updating, and the beds felt quite old and soft, but they were okay for an overnight stay.

The staff were brilliant and made us feel welcome, and they were terrific with our dog blue. We had a lovely meal and the service was good. Wish we'd discovered the place sooner. We'll definitely visit next time we're in the area.
