Dinner was the highlight of our stay. We went for three courses and every dish was lovely, though we were completely stuffed by the end. Breakfast was really good too. The building has lots of character, our room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The staff were great throughout. I’d happily bring my wife here for a holiday as well as return for work, and hope to be back soon.

Scottish hospitality is alive and well here. We came for lunch with friends for the first time today and had a lovely visit. The menu is sensible, the food was well cooked, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. Service was spot on. They were busy, so booking ahead seems like a good idea.

Danielle deserves a special mention, as she always does a great job. All the staff were lovely, and everything came out quickly in pleasant surroundings. The meal was very good value and the atmosphere was friendly. I had the chicken special in creamy leek sauce with bacon, new potatoes and vegetables, followed by banoffee pie and cream. Absolutely delicious. My husband had his usual apple pie with custard and ice cream, which was really nice. Another beautiful meal, and a must for us whenever we're in the area. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks to everyone!
