The staff were friendly, and having parking on site was handy. We were visiting family for the weekend, so the location worked perfectly, just five minutes from where they live. Check-in was straightforward, and the room had what we needed for a place to sleep. One odd thing: our phones and other electronics charged really slowly, and I’m not sure why. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, served from 7-11 each morning. There were only ever a couple of slices of bread out, which seemed strange, though we had enough to eat. We’d definitely stay again because the location is so convenient for us.

Mia made my stay at Premier Inn feel especially welcoming. Whenever I passed reception, she greeted me and the other guests with a genuine smile and a cheerful attitude. She was kind, polite, and always willing to help. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and it was clear she cared about guests being comfortable. People like Mia make a real difference. Thanks for making my stay so pleasant, and for being such a credit to the Premier Inn team.

Aimee and Rowan deserve a special mention for the dinner service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made me feel welcome. It’s also a good spot for visiting Oldham.

The food at the hotel restaurant, "the social", was completely inedible. Our kids' margarita pizza was dry and overcooked, and the other four lite bites items were overcooked but still warm, which made no sense. The restaurant had been empty when we arrived, with two floor staff and a chef. While we waited, both staff members left. About 10-15 minutes later our food was left on the open pass, with nobody around, so I went to collect it myself. When one staff member finally came back, she ignored us and served another family who had arrived while she was away. She didn’t seem to notice I’d brought the food to our table. When she came to clear our plates, I said I wouldn’t pay for any of it. She left again to find a "manager". The manager didn’t acknowledge the problem, just asked for my room number and reservation name and said she would "sort this bill". The interaction was very brief, and I walked out without knowing why she needed those details. I’ll be watching my bank transactions in case she tries to charge the room after we’ve left.

Sophie in the restaurant was polite and helpful. Mia and Chris also stood out during my recent stay at Premier Inn. They were both attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to make things smooth and comfortable. Their help left us feeling well looked after. Big thanks to all three for their kindness and professionalism. They’re an asset to the Oldham Central team.
