Jamie & Gary were so welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast was very good. We spent two days at Watermead House and really liked it. Our room was stylish, clean, comfortable, and very quiet, yet right in the centre of town. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Five stars!

We booked direct and got a great discount. The new self catering studio was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, crockery, and cutlery. Self check in was easy too, thanks to the clear instructions sent beforehand. It's right on the Chard high street, with plenty of free parking. We definitely recommend it. Thanks to Jamie & Gary!

The beds were really cosy, with quality linen and an under mattress. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of healthy options, though I went for the full English. The location in Chard is central and close to the main road, but it's so quiet at night and feels really country.

We've been back regularly and love staying here. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, breakfast is wonderful and varied, and the rooms are a high standard. The hotel has been updated to 5 star accommodation, and it's in Chard Somerset, with many local places of interest to visit.

We had a great time. The hosts were lovely, accommodating, and helpful, and breakfast was superb. The rooms are lovely too. I especially like that they have some self catering rooms, as well as a room for disabled people. Thanks!
