Our host Dave met us in the car park and carried our bags into the lovely B&B. After the long drive, tea, coffee and cake were very welcome. The house is clean and homely, in a lovely setting about a 10-minute walk from the village centre. Our room had a kettle, hot drinks, biscuits and a fridge. There’s plenty of breakfast choice, and Dave cooked everything perfectly. He’s happy to share his wealth of knowledge about interesting places to visit, and which ones might not be worth it depending on how long you’re staying. I’d definitely recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

David made us feel welcome and has created such a calming, wonderful B&B. It feels like a home away from home. Town is within walking distance, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is made to order. It was great, and a nice chance to get David’s tips for food and nearby places to see. My husband and I will definitely return. 100/10, couldn’t recommend it more.

Coombs House felt more like being Dave’s guest than staying in a typical hotel or Airbnb. He made a real effort to learn everyone’s first name and check that we had what we needed. The whole stay was delightful, and I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water. The rooms were spacious, lovely and immaculately clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Dave’s breakfast each morning was delicious, and I enjoyed chatting with him and the other guests about local recommendations and their stories. The place itself is stunning, with picturesque grass lanes and charming surroundings.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and David gave us useful tips about places to visit and restaurants. The hotel’s location made it easy to get into downtown without being caught up in the crowds. He made our Cotswolds trip wonderful.

My cousin suggested Coombe House, and I’m so glad I took her advice. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, and breakfast is first class, with lots of choice. The eggs were the best, whether fried or poached. David is a friendly host with a great sense of humour who makes everyone feel special. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.
