No 131

The interior design is nice. That's about the only positive I can offer. My experience was insulting, especially from a place that presents itself as high-end and boutique. When something goes wrong, that's when you see what a business is really like, and here I was left feeling I should be grateful just to spend my hard-earned money there and walk the same floorboards as the people running it. If you're considering No.131 or Yoku, expect to pay boutique prices for one-star service. I don't write many reviews. I run my own business and know how damaging they can be, and my Google reviews are all five stars for occasions I thought deserved praise. I'm making an exception for No.131 / Yoku because this was so far below par. My complaint is too detailed to lay out here, but they have all the information to review. I've been left with a strong impression that they simply don't care. There seemed to be no livelihoods at stake, and the service reflected that.

We've been coming to the same place for seven years and I still don't get bored. Great atmosphere, fantastic music and service. Such an enjoyable night, with the best cocktails.

We got married here recently, and it was superb from start to finish. Huge thanks to all the staff, especially Georgie and Meg for organising everything and keeping up their smiles. Henry the Chef deserves a big thank you too, everyone is still raving about the food. Highly recommend this venue!

We had a lovely late lunch here on Friday 5th December 2025, while the weather outside was horrendous. Wind and rain were battering the tents where we were seated indoors. The staff looking after us were lovely, and the starters came out quickly. I enjoyed the three-course festive meal, and my steak was cooked to perfection with very little fat, just how I like it. The bill for two was expensive at £96, but I didn't mind paying because the food and service were excellent. If you only want water, make sure to ask for tap water. The small bottles of still water they bring are VERY expensive. Hopefully the overall experience of eating outside @131 will improve once the tents or marquees are replaced with a proper structure.
