We ate in the pub for dinner and breakfast the next day. The food was fresh, tasty and excellent value, and the service was consistently good and timely. Check-in was easy, and the staff were pleasant. The room felt like it was in a pretty new building, and it was spacious, clean, tidy and warm, which was especially welcome on a very cold day. The bed had clean, high-quality linen and was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, with plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. I’d definitely consider staying again.

The restaurant food was incredible and really good value, and breakfast was just as good, with toast, small bakery items and a solid choice of cooked options. Our room was warm when we came back after the evening out, and we slept brilliantly in the very comfortable bed. We were here for a wedding party. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable, with everything we needed for a memorable short stay. The heating controls were easy to use, and the room warmed up quickly, which was perfect in the rain. We had a perfect stay.

We’ve stayed here for visits with family in Chepstow and find it comfortable and good value. The restaurant staff are really friendly and helpful. We’ve had dinner there twice; it’s adequate, and I like that they offer a bluelight discount. The only small thing I’d improve is the presentation. We’ll keep coming back.

We were in the area for a family wedding and travelling from Devon. Our family room was clean, tidy and very spacious when we arrived, though it didn’t have enough towels. A member of housekeeping quickly sorted that out and couldn’t have been more helpful. The waiting staff at both breakfast and dinner were friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely return if we’re in Chepstow again.
