Church Villa B B

There are lots of books about the Peak District and nature to browse, and the breakfast was top class. The hosts were friendly, too. I was welcomed with a cup of tea in the lovely garden when I arrived. My bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. There’s a chair by the window where you can read privately and relax, though there’s also a lounge downstairs. All three guest rooms are upstairs in this old house, so you can hear a little noise, but everyone was quiet at bedtime. It’s an excellent B&B near Hardwick Hall.

Hillary & Graham were so friendly and did everything they could for us. They were interested in what we’d been doing and suggested places we could visit. Our room was lovely and full of character. A wonderful place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

There was a downstairs sitting room for guests, and our bedroom had drinks and biscuits ready for us. The breakfast choices were plentiful, and we ordered ahead. It was very quiet, so we slept really well. Graham and Hilary made us feel very welcome and had suggested places to eat before we even arrived. Thanks so much to both of them for a wonderful stay.

We were here on a motorcycle trip, and Hilary and Graham were ready with travel tips and advice about the beautiful local area. Their help, along with their warm welcome and exceptional service, made the stay special. Breakfast each morning was top quality, with a fully loaded menu. It’s a fantastic B&B in a fantastic location. We had a great stay and will definitely come back next time we’re here. Well done, guys, keep up the great work.
