The room and facilities were great, and the area was lovely. The smell from the nearby farm, though, was so strong you almost needed oxygen if you took a deep breath! We stayed with Mr and Mrs Watling a few months ago, and I’ve only just got around to writing this. At 5:30 in the morning, some hooligan drove up and down past our apartment on a huge tractor, with what looked like an oversized beer barrel and a load of metal discs on the back. Next time, they can be shot at dawn. Apart from that, we had a rather enjoyable stay at Avon Lodge, in lower Seagry!
