It's our last night in one of the cottages, and we've found it spacious with good facilities: washing machine, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. The cottage we're in has a recently installed shower, and there's woodland on the property to explore. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's a little out of the way, but peaceful, with shops a short drive away. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed three comfortable nights, and it was good value. The decor is a little tired and dated.

The owner greeted me warmly and was very friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, tidy and functional, though the decor is a bit dated. It has tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities, plus a microwave if needed. The setting is peaceful but has good road access, and it's handy for Chippenham, Corsham, Melksham and Devizes. I'd recommend a stay.

A proper clean and some updating are needed in this lodge. The carpet was stained, and a plug socket was coming away from the wall. Since it's pet friendly, wooden floors might be more hygienic. The surroundings are lovely and it's good to be able to barbecue. The couple were lovely and friendly.

The room I was given looked nothing like the photos or description and was very dated. The mattresses were so soft that I could clearly feel the large springs when I pressed them. Nobody was there to meet me, so I couldn't share my concerns at the time. I couldn't sleep on that bed and left without staying. When I emailed the owner, he was curt and rude, wouldn't consider a refund and said the mattresses were perfectly serviceable. Avoid.
