The menu is small, but every dish felt carefully considered. I tried the vegetarian option even though I'm not vegetarian, and it was incredible. The starters were insanely good, and the desserts had some of the best flavours we've ever tasted. Alex was a wonderfully welcoming hostess who made us and our two dogs feel at home. A great meal and experience from beginning to end.

The best breakfast we've had away from home, and the evening meal was very tasty too. Alex and all her staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for two nights in a lovely, warm, very clean room, and there were lovely homemade shortbread biscuits. Even the pot of tea tasted like tea, unlike at some places. On-site parking was a bonus. We'll definitely come back one day.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was lovely, friendly and helpful. Can't praise it enough. If we lived closer we'd eat here regularly. We're definitely coming back to eat and stay. Top marks from us. Xx

Dan looked after us brilliantly, from check-in through dinner service, and the owner, Alex, managed the place well with a great chef at the helm. The welcome and our room were exceptional, and the food was even better. This place lets you relax and forget about the outside world. It's well positioned for much of the Cotwolds, and doesn't feel stuffy like some other places I've stayed.
