Breakfast was exceptional, and the rest of the stay was just as lovely. My single room was spotless, and the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The food was excellent too: three courses for £30 is amazing value for food that’s interesting, carefully cooked and presented with care. There’s a big car park and a beautiful garden.

The Corinium is still my first choice when I’m in Cirencester. I was back a few days ago for two nights in my usual room, and I’ve already booked another visit for later in the Summer. The staff were fantastic, and it was good to see locals having a drink in the bar. They made me, travelling on my own, feel welcome. I arrived in time for Sunday lunch and had an excellent roast beef, cooked perfectly. The hotel is in a quiet part of town with its own parking, yet the Market Place is only a five-minute walk away. It’s a lovely hotel with plenty of history. Why stay anywhere else? ;-)

Bailey, our Spaniel, was made just as welcome as we were. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were incredibly kind, and breakfast was great, especially the waffles. We had a beautiful, clean and comfy room, and the town centre is only a very short walk away. Alex greeted us, checked us in and served us twice, always with a bright smile. We’ll definitely be back in summertime.

A little gem in the Cotswolds. The hotel is right in the centre of Cirencester, close to local shops, bars and restaurants. There’s easy, much-needed parking for guests, free of charge, and the bar is well stocked. It serves good food and is open to the public.

The building is lovely and well located, with plenty of free parking. The room was clean, but old and quirky, and the floors were noisy. The walls are paper thin, and without double glazing you hear everything outside. Breakfast was okay, though a group of ten were talking and shouting over one another, so it was hard to hear anyone at our table. The restaurant has a barn-like feel, with high ceilings, oak beams and wooden floors. Would I stay again? Probably, if I could get a bigger bed on the top floor. 🤔🛌
