The room was spacious and lovely, the facilities were great, and the food was good. But it was the staff who really made the stay. Everyone was fantastic and went out of their way to help. Tom, our young waiter, deserves a special mention for his brilliant silver service. They even brought me a glass of birthday fizz, the good stuff, which made the occasion feel extra special. We came to Bailiffscourt for my birthday and had a lovely start to the year. We did arrive without checking the pool timetable and wandered into the spa during the children’s swimming session. It wasn’t a problem since we swam again after dinner, though it might help to let adult groups know the children’s times when they arrive. One small breakfast request: the meat sausage wasn’t gluten free. A luxurious, refreshing visit, and we’ll be back as soon as we can. Thanks so much, everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Coming back to Bailiffscourt brought back a lot of happy memories. We celebrated our marriage there 40 years ago yesterday, and this time they upgraded our room and left a lovely card and a bottle of bubbly for us. The staff were kind and friendly, and both the service and food were amazing. Thank you for such a beautiful return visit.

The Baylies Suite made our little escape feel just right, it was cosy, romantic, and incredible. We ate really well too, everything we tried was delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive throughout. We had the best time at Bailiffscourt and would happily come back. 10/10.

Being right by the sea was a lovely bonus, and we enjoyed wandering around the generous grounds and characterful buildings. The place has a fascinating history, with Medieval-style surroundings that made it feel like we’d stepped away from everyday life into another world. We came to Bailiffscourt for one night to relax and recharge, and it was just what we needed. The restaurant meals were delicious, compliments to the chef, and the spa gave us a welcome chance to unwind. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Such a pleasure to stay somewhere so special.

We especially liked unwinding in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Archie, the resident peacock, was nearby preening himself while we soaked. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a lovely way to finish our stay. Our room was lovely too, and handy for being right next to our friends’ room.
