Stirk House Hotel & Spa

Stirk house gave me the wedding of my dreams on the 11th may 🥰 Everything was perfect from start to finish, and the staff all made us feel so special. A huge thank you to Oliver, who was amazing with my two children all day. Weeks later, they still talk about him every couple of seconds! All my guests keep saying how beautiful Stirk house is. We also had a meal there the night before for 17 people, and it was well organised and cooked to perfection. Thank you so much to everyone at Stirk house for such a perfect, memorable day. We can't wait to come back to dine and stay again soon!

The food was beautifully presented, tasted amazing and earned so many compliments from our guests. Stirk House Hotel was a stunning setting for our wedding on Saturday, and we stayed an extra night on Sunday to unwind and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. From start to finish, the whole weekend felt perfect. Every staff member we met was kind, welcoming and happy to help with anything, which made everything relaxed and special and let us enjoy every moment of the wedding. A huge thank you to everyone at Stirk House for making the weekend so memorable. We'll always look back on it with happy memories, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding staff and service.

The restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast, the parking was very convenient, and the service was really friendly. The suite was very good value, with a huge bed and bathroom. Heating worked well and the Wi-Fi was reliable and fairly fast, which mattered because the mobile signal was very weak or nonexistent. I would've liked a few more room amenities, like a coat stand or a fridge, and there was space for a small table to eat at. The hotel is outside Clithroe in a very green area that's great for hiking when the weather's good. It's isolated though, with any shop at least a 15-minute drive away. I'd probably return.

A wonderful place with a lovely hotel and bedroom. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked the bath. Breakfast was lovely too. The evening meal was nice, but the menu didn't offer much choice. It could do with more starters, mains and desserts.
