The team on site made me feel very welcome, and the online booking was easy. My room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view. I was only there for one night.

We hired the whole house for a group of friends celebrating a big birthday, and it was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. We had everything we needed, plus more. It’s ideally placed for exploring Bath and the nearby villages. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again if I were in the area.

Lorne House is in a lovely little village with pubs, restaurants and cafes, and Bath is a short drive or bus ride away. The rooms are comfortable, and the hosts are lovely and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. We had a wonderful stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend it enough!

The house was very quiet, with a lovely lounge and dining room. My room was immaculate and nicely decorated, and I really enjoyed my night there. It’s close to Bath as well as some very nice villages in Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay in 2022, booking the whole property for our family group of 10, including a couple of small children. The owners were incredibly helpful. They gave us local advice and even lent us their local cell phone when someone in the family had a worrying illness and we needed to contact the national health service. The house was comfortable, with plush, modern rooms. We also liked the views, the easy drive to Bath and the countryside, and the short walk to the local pub. A lovely place for a stay of any kind, and highly recommended.
