Ramada Hotel & Suites Coventry

We had two coach loads of passengers staying here, and the hotel handled the parking for both coaches smoothly, which was a huge relief. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and made us feel that we mattered. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and the hotel itself was modern and beautifully kept. After a long journey it was a great place to relax. The food was amazing too. Highly recommended for groups.

The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk from the city centre, and the bathroom was very good. But the rest of the stay had too many problems, and I’d rate it three stars rather than its four. Our room was cold, and the heating wasn’t enough. An extra blanket just about got us through the night. The TV had no guide, so you had to flick through channels like it was the 1990s. Lighting was poor too, with no ceiling lights and lamps that were dim or didn’t work. Our entry cards kept failing, and we had to get them remagnetised at the front desk several times in just two nights. The breakfast buffet was decent, especially the bread, but at £14 I’d have expected vegetarian sausages and porridge as standard for a vegetarian, and hot chocolate or mocha as options. The gym was basic, with four machines and just enough room for two mats. I also forgot my electric toothbrush after checkout. I came back a couple of hours later and it was gone without a trace. I can’t know what happened, but the cleaners had likely taken it.

The Christmas lunch was beautifully presented and full of festive flavour, and the Christmas cocktails were a lovely surprise. Our quarterly business review at Ramada Coventry on 11th December 2025 went very smoothly. The conference room was well set up, and having a separate space for tea, coffee, and biscuits helped the day feel relaxed and professional. Prakash, Sharmin, and the whole team were friendly, attentive, and always there to keep things on track. Their warmth made the occasion feel special for everyone. We’d happily return for future business events or festive gatherings.

Patricia was especially thoughtful. It was raining, but she still went out to get oat milk for my breakfast. The room was very nice, and most of the staff were too. The two evening meals I ordered separately at the restaurant were both undercooked, and the manager didn’t seem too bothered. I’d stay here again, but wouldn’t eat there in the evening. If a chicken burger can’t be cooked properly, something’s off.
