The “Eddie” apartment was warm and comfortable, and the location was great. We stayed for three nights and loved its “olde world” feel. Our host was helpful, and there was a very cute dog about too. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.

Ivan, Angela, and Noel made our family group feel wonderfully looked after. They went above and beyond, and were a pleasure to deal with throughout. We spent four days in two double rooms at this atmospheric cottage complex in Moira. It’s also easy to reach the nearby motorway network from Clenaghans, with connections across Northern Ireland. We’d strongly recommend staying here.

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that some parts of the restaurant can feel pretty cramped, depending on where you’re seated. Still, my partner and I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is high quality, service is quick and efficient, and the staff are always polite and pleasant. Some of the younger staff show a lot of maturity. It seems like business is doing well, which is lovely to see. I’d certainly recommend the restaurant.

Lunch was very good, with burgers, two fish dishes, chicken and steak on offer. I think they serve local craft beers exclusively. The garden tables and quirky little corners in the eating area make this a lovely spot for a summer lunch, and the surroundings are beautiful. Staff were friendly, efficient and really attentive to the two year old in our group. I was surprised there weren’t child friendly changing facilities, though it is essentially a bar and restaurant. The outdoor space was good for little legs to run around. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will be back.

We had a family meal here recently and it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had in ages. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I’d highly recommend the restaurant, and we’ll definitely return.
