The setting and position are excellent, and the annexe was a comfortable place to stay. The host was kind and helpful, and everything was clean, well presented and equipped for a couple. The bed was comfortable, with enough room for a dressing table, two small chairs and a wardrobe without feeling cramped. There was a spacious living room with reclining chairs, a comfortable two-seater sofa and a TV with extra channels such as Sky, though I don't know how many. The compact kitchen had a cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, air fryer, coffee machine and other equipment. The shower room was small but not cramped, and you don't step straight out of the shower into the toilet bowl. I didn't spot a washing machine, though I wasn't looking for one. I'd have given it five stars, but personal circumstances meant I had to cut my visit short. I only stayed one night, so there may be something I didn't notice.

We come back every year. The hosts are so welcoming, and the place feels cosy and comfortable with everything you need. One of our favourite extras is sitting in the garden pod and taking in those stunning views.

We stayed for a few nights and found the house in very good condition. It has a bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen, so you can bring food and cook for yourself. The owner was really nice and helpful, pointing us towards local sights and cash points. We'd happily recommend it and go back.

The hosts were lovely, and there are interesting places nearby. We especially enjoyed walking along the canal. Just what we needed for a quiet, restful break, and I'd recommend visiting.

The scenery and walks around Llangynidr are wonderful, and the local pub is friendly with excellent food. We found a little gem here, with lovely accommodation and really friendly hosts. We'll definitely come back.
