Holiday Inn Express London - Dartford

Karen, Claire and Moni, I hope I've spelt your name right, all took great care of me during my stay. Everyone was lovely, and the reception and bar staff were especially nice to chat with. The room was very good, clean and finished to a high standard. I came down to meet some new people in bodybuilding and had an amazing time away. Thanks, I'd happily recommend it.

The staff were incredible and worked really hard to make sure guests were happy. A special thank you to the blonde-haired lady, sorry I didn't get your name, who made sure we were comfortably seated at breakfast with our dog and looked after us so well throughout the stay. We arrived late and stayed one night with our family. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was an average stay, fine for a short visit, neither amazing nor bad.

After a 10 hour journey in heavy traffic, we were exhausted, and Karen gave us such a lovely welcome. She checked us in and arranged a code to discount the car park fee, which was excellent. She also said booking through the chain's own app is usually a bit cheaper if we use it again, then emailed me the details. We booked through booking.com at £80 with hot breakfast. We'd come to collect a puppy locally. When we told Karen and her colleagues, they were excited for us. The ground-floor double room was excellent, immaculately clean, with a really comfy bed and excellent shower. We ate in and got the pizza and a drink deal. The pizza was delicious. Even though we were close to the motorway, it was quiet overnight and we weren't disturbed. Breakfast had an excellent choice. We had croissants and coffee, while other guests were having a full breakfast that looked good. Two team members on the early shift wished us luck with the puppy, and I promised to let them know how it went. We picked her up and she's adorable, feisty and brave, and settled in quickly at home.
