There’s a Tesco petrol station next door, and the Premier Inn itself has a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. It’s close to Buxton town centre. The food and breakfast area is right by reception, which is convenient, and parking costs £5, though not too much. Our room window wouldn’t open, but they gave us an extra fan and that helped.

Chloe and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast had the good selection you usually get at Premier Inn. Parking costs extra, but guests get two hours free, and there’s also parking on nearby streets. We were visiting friends and family, and the location was handy for both Buxton and the Peaks. It was my first stay at this Premier Inn, and I’d definitely come back.

We only stopped in for breakfast, but the staff couldn’t have done more for us, even though we arrived right near the end of breakfast time. One of the children had forgotten a toothbrush, and they even gave us some money to buy one. With three kids eating for free, it was great value as well as brilliant service. We’ll be back, thanks!

My one-night stay was generally good. The room was fine and clean, and the staff were really friendly. The extra £5 per night for parking is the main drawback. I’d expect a parking charge in a city centre or at an airport, but this is on the edge of town. When I asked about it, I was told it’s because the car park is open to the general public. That seems like a questionable reason to me, given there’s unrestricted street parking nearby. It’s not enough to put me off by itself, but it’s worth including in the price comparison.

The staff made things very easy when we stayed with my disabled sister. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We’ve stayed at lots of Premier Inns, and this is one of the best. There was plenty of choice, and both breakfast and dinner were very good.
