Premier Inn Oxford South - Didcot

The staff were lovely, there was plenty of parking, and the location was very convenient. Our accessible room was spacious and clean. I did spot a few cobwebs, though you'd probably only notice them if you work in this field, as I do. The super king bed was very comfortable, and the king size sheets were clean. All in all, excellent.

The wheelchair accessible room worked well for my super wide chair, including getting into the bathroom. Staff were very good at supporting people with disabilities. The place was well organised and cleaner than most, and the staff were great. I found it calmer than other Premier Inns.

I left my charger behind after just one night and, since I was from out of the area, expected sorting it out to be a hassle. Receptionist Pammy Hadley tracked it down and returned it to me. She was exceptionally helpful, and stayed friendly and cheerful throughout our stay. I've never had this level of care and dedication at a hotel. The comfortable room and beds were as usual, but Pammy's service was the highlight. Huge thanks to her for making the stay so memorable.

The Premier Inn stay was a 10/10, but I wouldn't recommend the Apple Cart next door. We waited a while to be seated, 5 out of 10. Ordering food and drinks was 8/10, and the food itself was okay, 7/10. Before it arrived I went to the bar for another drink, but staff walked past without speaking, so I gave up, 0/10. When we paid, the change was almost chucked onto the tray and there was no acknowledgement, 2/10.
