The team made this stay feel welcoming from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and quick to help. The location was convenient for my visit, and the price felt fair for the quality. As with my other stays at Premier Inn, I found the room clean, comfortable, and well kept, with everything I expect for a good night’s sleep. I’d happily stay again.

Staff have always been good, and the location works well for us when we’re visiting Didsbury and Fallowfield. There hasn’t been a restaurant or bar during our last few stays, though I think they’re building a new one. For breakfast there’s a small temporary shed out front with reasonably priced food. Otherwise, it’s what you’d expect from a Premier Inn.

We had to ask for the sheets to be changed, despite requesting a daily clean. It seems that changing them isn’t included. They were clearly dirty after our son spilled prune puree on them. At night, the creaky floorboards upstairs carried the sound of people walking into our room, so it wasn’t fully soundproof. There was no apology from the staff or Premier Inn, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially with family. The fourth day there was no hot water, so we had cold showers. The night before, at 00:30, flashing lights and the smoke alarm woke us. We had a baby with us, so we got dressed and left the room. It stopped, so we got back into bed, but then it went off again. We were told it was steam from a shower, and the whole hotel had to go outside in the middle of winter. After we returned and got into bed, it sounded again. This carried on until 01:30. Our baby was very distressed and struggled to get back to sleep, and we had to be up for work at 7am. The restaurant was out of service, with a makeshift hut for breakfast. On the first day that hut was shut because of frozen pipes. We’d booked an accessibility room, but it was up a flight of stairs and at the end of a corridor. If there were a fire and the lift didn’t work, someone with a disability could be at serious risk. Maybe this place is usually fine, but my family and I had an awful stay.

The room was clean enough to be comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The area itself is quiet, but it’s a short Uber ride to the stadium and town centre. I was here for a united game, and the room was about what I’d expect from a 3 star. The flooring was the problem: every step creaked, both in the room and along the corridors, so you could hear people walking by. When the cleaners came around at 6am, there was no chance of getting back to sleep. It’s okay for one night at the low price, but if you need undisturbed sleep, I’d give it a miss.

Getting here was easy, right by the M60 motorway, and it worked well for trips to Warrington and south Manchester. There’s plenty of parking, and I really liked the room and the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. I loved my time here and would recommend it.
