The river view from my room was lovely, and the scenic setting gives the hotel a pleasant feel. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for a relaxed weekend break or an overnight visit. Everything was top tier, from the facilities and room amenities to the staff service, especially at reception. I’ll definitely come back.

I spend a lot of time working away and staying in hotels around the UK. This place gives you the kind of service you’d expect at £200 a night for less than £70, which is sublime. The staff member who helped me was fantastic, the location is excellent, and the facilities were just right. It’s been modernised really well. I’ll definitely book here again when I’m working in the area. I hope the staff member reads this. Thanks, brother.

We had no hot water for two of the three days we were there. The room also felt cramped, with a tiny, uncomfortable chair and a large support beam that they’d built the room around. The “river view” was really a tiny, shallow stream beside a car park. The location is great, close to everything in town, and the place was very clean. It looks like it was remodelled recently.

The location was handy, close to the main attractions and public transport. The staff were friendly and attentive, ready to help with requests. My room was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had all the essentials. I had a pleasant stay and think it’s a good option for a short or longer visit.
