The service is what made our stay at Keavil House. Andrew the GM seemed to have everything under control, and it showed in how smoothly things ran. Audrey and Maria made us feel welcome straight away at reception, and "young" Andrew behind the bar kept us happily supplied. He was a legend. We also loved how calm and well-kept the Garden Room was. My wife booked a Hot Stones treatment with the new therapist and thought it was amazing, a really good addition to the team. We’ve just got back and already know we’ll return. Highly recommend if you want to be properly looked after.

Having my own room made the stay even better, and I’d happily come back. The pool and leisure facilities were a real highlight, especially followed by a great shower. The bathroom was spotless, and the room itself was bright, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfy too. There was a welcoming feel to the hotel, and I appreciated the tea and coffee in the room. Everything was easy to use and well looked after.

The breakfast was the one letdown. The scrambled egg wasn’t very good, and I couldn’t tell if pastries were supposed to be available, but the baskets beside the toaster were empty on both mornings. Otherwise, I had a nice stay at Keavil House. The staff were helpful when I couldn’t get the WiFi working, and the room was pleasant with a comfortable bed. I did wake up sweating a couple of times, though, since I tend to get too hot even with the window open. The gym is modest but gets the job done.

A peaceful spot for a break, well away from main roads. The leisure centre sits right beside the hotel and has brilliant facilities, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and always willing to help. Getting into Dunfermline is easy too, with buses every 20 minutes or just a 10 minute drive. There’s plenty to do there for food and entertainment. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We came for an 80th celebration and found a warm, spacious hotel. The rooms were huge and warm, and the food was great, with a good quality breakfast and friendly staff. We didn’t use the leisure facilities, so I can’t comment on those. I left my jacket behind, but phoned ahead and they held it in housekeeping. I was able to pick it up a week later.
