That big bedroom and really comfortable bed made a good impression, and the breakfast staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast itself was just okay, lukewarm and self-service, but it was a decent start to the day. The prices were great: £44 for a Saturday night for five rooms, bed and breakfast, then £28 for a large sea-view room on the Friday I booked a few days before we went. The main letdown was the bedroom windows. They were filthy, fogged with condensation, or badly scratched, so you couldn't see the amazing beach view. Such a shame, because it spoiled the room a bit. Still, not a bad choice. I'd definitely stay again.

I was in Eastbourne for work and stayed two nights. The room was big, the price was great, and breakfast was good. There was a sea view too. The staff were so kind and friendly, especially Ramy at reception and the breakfast team. What more could you ask for?

The buffet breakfast was good, and everyone at reception was very pleasant. I hadn't expected much for the price, but the room was large and very clean. It also came with tea and coffee, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, and a fan.

The inside has been completely redone, so don't let the ongoing work on the outside put you off. I loved the sea view, and the rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and a high standard of cleaning. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was cooked and presented well. You can park on the street outside using a card bought at the hotel. At the moment it costs £2.35 a day. This will definitely be my preferred hotel when I'm in Eastbourne.

I stayed here for 14 nights, and it was absolutely worth it. The reception and cleaning staff were so friendly and kind, and they made me feel welcome and safe. My dog would probably like to be their ambassador and future friend. I'd totally recommend it for the value.
